“You have tuberculosis.” “You have HIV.”

These diagnoses are difficult for anyone to hear. It’s harder when every day you need to earn the money to feed your family that day. And it’s harder when you think you will be abandoned by your family. During this trying time, patients need support. Over the past five years we developed a wonderful team who help counsel our patients. When patients are reluctant to take their medication or feel like they want to give up, we are there to support them.

We have also developed our own video materials to discuss what it is like to take medications daily, so that other patients can talk to new patient by video about coping with a new diagnosis.
